Annual Ellensburg National Art Show & Auction

Nearly every form of fine art is available at this show (it is the second longest-running Western art show in the country) including painting, sculpture, wood carving, photography, stained glass, jewelry, pottery and etchings. Ellensburg’s Western Art Association produces the show.

Tips from the Locals:There is so much art going on at this three-day event, you won’t know where to look first. There’s over 14,000 square-feet of show space, where artists display work, interact with visitors and give demonstrations.

A few tidbits on the show:

• Make your hotel reservations a couple of months in advance. It’s a full house this weekend in Ellensburg.
• There will be more than 70 artists on display and most events are free.
• Attendance is upwards of 7,000.
• Be ready to place your bids. Purchase your auction tickets in advance. This auction sells out every year.
• Food vendors are on hand for the hungry visitors.
