Autumn is approaching quickly, and Ellensburg is a wonderful place to enjoy the season's changes. Admire the Fall Colors




The gorgeous colors of fall overtake Ellensburg and offer a warm and inviting backdrop to everything you do during your visit. For stunning views this fall, visit Helen McCabe Park, Irene Rinehart Park or Olmstead Place State Park. For more astounding scenery, consider taking a leisurely drive through Ellensburg and all of the surrounding areas. There are numerous options for taking a scenic drive which offer spectacular views of fall foliage, basalt canyons, rolling pasturelands, the Columbia River and more. Most notable is the Barn Quilt Trail which tours over one hundred barns adorned with beautiful quilt blocks. The self-guided driving tour makes for a picturesque country drive, especially in the fall. Visit Huffman Farms




Escape the city and visit Huffman Farms for an authentic farm experience this fall! Visitors will love the U-Pick Pumpkin Patch and can also enjoy hayrides, a petting zoo, a haunted forest and corn maze, and more! Enjoy a classic celebration of fall with Huffman Farms this season every Saturday and Sunday, September 28 through October 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Fall Events


The season's change brings a host of exciting events to Ellensburg. A local favorite, Buskers in the Burg, will take place on Friday, September 27 and Saturday, September 28. This festival includes a Luminary Show, a Comedy Kickoff at Gallery One, an Arts Parade featuring giant puppets, Busker performances, kid's activities and more! This is a unique event that should not be missed so be sure to stop by, enjoy the parade, support local musicians, and explore the Ellensburg Farmers Market! Other upcoming events in Ellensburg include the Windfall Cider Fest on Saturday, October 5, and Junk-tiquen in the Burg on Saturday, October 19.
