DEADLINE: April 22, 2021 @ 11:59pm

Entry form is online here.

We want to hang your art in the gallery, promote your work, give you an award, sell your art, and show off your studio! We invite all Kittitas County artists to participate in this year's Open Show. You're guaranteed to get at least one work accepted to the show. With our sliding scale entry thanks to Kelleher Motors, you can pay what you can afford. So, what's stopping you? Enter today!

Open to all Kittitas County artists, ages 18 and up working in any art medium. Artwork must have been produced in the last five years and not previously exhibited at Gallery One. Only three submissions will be allowed per artist. One piece minimum is guaranteed to be accepted in the show.

Size Limitation

Works of all sizes can be entered, however works larger than 3 feet may or may not be accepted based on space available.

Entry Fee

Suggested entry is $30 for up to three submissions. For artists whose income has been impacted by COVID-19, entry is on a sliding scale ($0 ' $15 ' $30). Please pay what you feel you can afford right now.

Artwork Preparation

All accepted works meant to be hung on the wall must have a sturdy hanging device (wire, metal loop or toothed hangers, etc.). Unusual hanging mechanisms must include clear installation instructions. Artwork will be displayed in the gallery.

Works are not required to be for sale. In the event of a sale, artists will receive a 60% commission of the retail price. Price your works accordingly. If works are Not for Sale (NFS), please list a price as an insurance value.

This year's juror is Philippe Hyojung Kim. He is a current member of SOIL Artist-Run Gallery (@soilart) and a co-founder/curator of Specialist (@specialist_sea), an experimental art gallery in downtown Seattle. He teaches art and design courses at Seattle Central College and Cornish College of the Arts, and he also serves as one of the curators for Washington State Arts Commission. Philippe received his MFA in Painting from Central Washington University.
