The EFF Board is pleased to share news about this year's Festival with our long-time friends and supporters.

After two disappointing years, in terms of attendance and finances, we determined to no longer have the Festival as a three-day event during the first full weekend of October. After much discussion among the Board and with community partners, we have decided to continue the Ellensburg Film Festival by offering several different film events over the course of 2020.

We are happy to report that we will continue to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment with all our events this year.

We will be offering Five-dollar Friday Night Films a few times this year, screening at the end of First Friday Art Walk. Stay tuned for details and plan to join us on a Friday soon for 9 to 5 and a future Friday night for Some Like it Hot.

Then mark your calendar for Saturday, October 24, 2020. Joining Our Voices of Kittitas County and other groups celebrating the passage of the 19th Amendment, the Ellensburg Film Festival will screen several shorts and one or two features during the afternoon and evening of the 24th. The screenings will be films submitted to the Festival. We are soliciting females in the film industry with this solicitation of films—made by, written by, directed by females or honoring female pioneers in the women's rights movement. We are also emphasizing films with connections to Washington. Final film details and the schedule will be released later this year.

Thanks for your past participation in the Festival. We hope to see you at this year's events!

EFF Board Members: Keith Alholm, Ginny Ann Blackson, Marty Blackson, Mike Burtness, Trish Dempsey, Krissy Peterson, Judy Sanders and Chris Trujillo.
