On the hunt for one-of-a-kind upcycled, repurposed, and/or vintage goods? You might just find that illusive item at the 5th Annual Junk-tiquen in the Burg Fall Show is Saturday, October 20th at the Kittitas Valley Event Center from 9am to 4pm. Admission is only $5 for adults, with kids 12 and under free.

Vendors roll into town from all corners of the Pacific Northwest, from the southernmost tip of Oregon to small towns in Idaho. Many vendors are Washington natives, giving Junk-tiquers a true feeling of "buying local".

"Junk-tiquen is for everyone... Many younger visitors come in search of repurposed items, while other shoppers are searching for true antiques," says event director Becky Sherley.

Many shoppers choose to "make a weekend" out of their Junk-tiquen experience, allowing time to explore downtown Ellensburg and the surrounding recreation opportunities. Over 2,000 attendees visited last year's show, and this weekend's event is sure to draw in even larger numbers with the reputation Junk-tiquen has been building.

Retro and refurbished trailers will be on display, along with local fare options like Yakima-based coffee caravan Groovin' Grounds, and Ellensburg-based JT's Kettle Corn, Rodeo Dogs, and Cascade Mountain Grilling.
