Labor Day Weekend, September 3rd - September 6th, 2021
Kittitas County Fairgrounds (website)
The Kittitas County Fair, first organized in 1885, is held every Labor Day weekend, and coincides with the Ellensburg Rodeo. It's a traditional fair, with lots of emphasis on agriculture, livestock, homemade goods, entertainment and rides.
Rodeo Tickets provide admittance to the Events on the same day -- Come early and enjoy both the Rodeo and the Fair!
A few tidbits on the fair:
Look for parking North of the fairgrounds on Alder. There's a shuttle that runs between the fairgrounds and the parking lot.
There's parking on the fairgrounds premises for $10 a day.
More than 65,000 people attended last year, so be prepared to encounter crowds.
There's food for every palate, so you won't need to go far to find a meal.
If you plan on staying overnight in Ellensburg during any of these days, book far in advance. It fills up fast with Labor Day Weekend visitors.
The weather's still pretty warm this time of year, but evenings are cool.
